It absolutely blows my mind that the new MacBook Pro has 2 Thunderbolt ports and ONLY 2 USB 3.0 ports and not even a simple Thunderbolt to USB 3.0 cable to take advantage of the vacant real estate.
I mean, it's kind of laughable and ridiculous!!!
All I want is a few more USB 3.0 ports to plug in my DJ stuff!!!

You could always purchase one of the Belkin Thunderbolt Hubs -> http://www.belkin.com/us/p/P-F4U055 - which would give you three more USB 3.0 ports.

US$300 for a whole hub which requires external power and isn't that portable (for DJing) when one should be able to get a simple cable for US$30....

This question is from 2011 ... same question ... I have a 2016/15 MacBook Pro need to hook up a scanner. Does Apple still not have a USB to Thunderbolt adapter cable. All the ports are full except for that one Thunderbolt port going to waste.
